Training
An introduction to Training
Training others to become confident, ethical and capable coaches is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Whether you’re looking to build coaching into your leadership style or gain a recognised qualification to practise professionally, I offer accredited ILM programmes that meet a wide range of goals and experience levels.
The learning is practical, reflective and fully supported — you won’t be left to work through a course on your own. I take time to understand your needs, help you build confidence with the material, and create space for your development as a coach or mentor. From introductory learning to more advanced qualifications, I aim to make training accessible, meaningful and relevant to the work you do.
If you’re ready to build your skills and gain recognition for your coaching, I’d love to support that journey.
The benefits of Training
Gaining a formal coaching or mentoring qualification is about more than ticking a box — it gives you the structure, insight and credibility to use coaching effectively. These programmes support both your professional development and your ability to support others with confidence and care. You’ll develop practical skills, deepen your understanding of coaching frameworks, and learn how to bring coaching into real-world settings.
Whether you’re in a leadership role, part of a people-focused team, or building a coaching practice of your own, the benefits are far-reaching. I work with delegates from a variety of professional backgrounds, tailoring the learning to reflect your context and experience.
At the heart of the training is the belief that great coaching creates better conversations — and better conversations lead to stronger outcomes, for individuals and organisations alike.
How Training works
I deliver ILM Level 5 and Level 7 programmes in Effective Coaching and Mentoring for individuals and organisations. These qualifications are nationally and internationally recognised, and include a blend of workshops, assignments, coaching practice and supervision. Before you start, we’ll discuss which level is most appropriate based on your experience and goals.
Each course includes dedicated tutor support, a clear learner plan, and regular contact throughout the programme. Group sizes are kept small to allow for discussion, shared learning and individual feedback. Delegates complete three assessed units, with supervision and portfolio support available along the way. I also work on the University of Cambridge Advanced Executive Coaching Programme and work with apprenticeship providers to deliver the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship.
However you’re looking to grow, I aim to make the training process clear, purposeful and fully supported.
